Rethink Good was born out of an idea to create an awareness of simple lifestyle changes that will have a BIG ecological and humanitarian impact.
The concept is based on a couple of my favorite scriptures:
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. — Romans 12:2 (NLT)
Everyone around was in awe—all those wonders and signs done through the apostles! And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met. – Acts 2:42-44 (MSG)
It would be wrong of me to say that this was created out of love and joy, but indeed it was not. It was created out of a frustration with our wasteful American society and a deep sadness that there is much poverty and hunger in the world.
We can all make a difference. Small changes can really add up to make a BIG impact. Make a choice to contribute a few small lifestyle changes to create a better world for everyone in it.
