[info] I use this for guests, sometimes as a picnic blanket, but I don’t use it very often.  Someone else could use it more.  I got rid of the matching shams several months ago.  I don’t want to see this go.  It’s clearly getting more difficult to choose things to downsize.

[info] I bought this while working on a mural painting in a building that had no heat… in the winter, in the snow, uphill both ways.  Oh, wait a minute.  That was school in Wisconsin.  I’m going to miss this.  It has a bit of paint on it, but it’s warm and I like it.  I had 4 of them though.  I got rid of 2.

[item] Women’s long winter coat / jacket

[purchase info] Purchased at a thrift store for $8

[time in my possession] Approximately 10 months

[last used] Once, but it looked ridiculous…

[difficulty level in getting rid of it] Hard

[destination] projectwarm.us

[replacement item] None, although I would buy one if I could find one in my size.

[info] I bought this knowing it was too big.  I wear a size 6.  This coat is a size 20.  You should have seen the look I got when I took it in to be altered.  “You want to do what?  You know that’s going to cost you about $60-$75, right?”  I was prepared to spend maybe $40 at the most.  I just love the colors and style of this coat!  I don’t want to get rid of it.
